A Developers’ Roundtable: Advancing Affordable Housing Along the Purple Line Corridor

Please join the Purple Line Corridor Coalition, the National Housing Trust, and Enterprise Community Partners for a discussion about affordable housing development along the Purple Line, a 16-mile, 21-station light rail system currently under construction in Maryland’s Prince George’s and Montgomery Counties. The transit line, which will run from New Carrollton to Bethesda, is already spurring new investments in the region.
The event will be held Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 10am to 12:30pm and will include:
- An update on the Purple Line’s construction
- A survey of financial resources available for affordable housing development
- An overview of specific development areas along the Purple Line

The event will be hosted by Vonnette Harris (Housing Development Consultant at the PLCC), Kladé Hare (Director of Lending at National Housing Trust), Monica Warren-Jones (Director of Capital Solutions, Mid-Atlantic at Enterprise Community Partners), and Sharon Bollers (Senior Loan Officer at Enterprise Community Partners).
Attendees will have access to materials with information on several neighborhoods that are excellent candidates for affordable housing development, as well as a list of financial resources, including capital that is specific to the Purple Line corridor.
